Smiley Children Society Nominated for Prestigious YSR Lifetime Achievement Award

The Andhra Pradesh State Government has announced the nominations for the esteemed YSR Lifetime Achievement Awards, now in its third consecutive year. The Smiley Children Society, based in Mandapeta, has been nominated for their outstanding contributions in the fields of COVID-19 relief, environmental work, and free education in Mandapeta, Angara, Pothavaram, and Tadepalligudam. The YSR Lifetime Achievement Awards are given to individuals and organizations that have made exceptional contributions in various fields such as agriculture, arts and culture, Telugu language and literature, sports, medical and health, and social service. The Awards Screening Committee, comprising of Government Advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, National Media Advisor Devulapalli Amar, Chief Minister’s Political Secretary R Mutyala Raju, I&PR Commissioner T Vijayakumar Reddy, and Principal Secretaries, has recommended the names of 27 eminent persons, including 23 for the Lifetime Achievement Awards and four for the Achievement Awards.

Advisor to Government (Communications) GVD Krishna Mohan, also a member of the Awards Screening Committee, announced the finalised nominations in all categories. The Smiley Children Society is among the final nominees, recognized for their significant work in the community. Founder Prudhvi Moses expressed his happiness about the nomination and is eagerly awaiting the final decision. This nomination is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Smiley Children Society in serving the community.
